Senator Braveboy is a medical doctor by profession and daughter of former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Dorcas Braveboy.  

Dr. Braveboy hails form St. Patrick and she is deeply respected among the young people of Grenada as head of the youth arm of the NDC, the Democratic Youth Organisation.  She is well-spoken and highly articulate and is sitting in the Senate for the first time.

The example for Senator Braveboy’s public service was set by her mother who was a popular business owner and community organiser.
